Combined Emergency First Aid at Work & Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course

We’re pleased to be hosting a combined Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) course on 13th June at Lawley Community Hub.

This course will be delivered by local resident Nick Freeman, a fully qualified and experienced trainer. Upon completion, your certification will be valid for three years, and you’ll also receive three years of access to electronic first aid books.

This comprehensive, combined course is ideal for workplaces, schools, childcare providers, and parents, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations involving adults, children, and infants.

What you’ll learn:

  • CPR & AED (adult, child & infant)
  • Choking response (all ages)
  • Managing an unconscious casualty & recovery position
  • Bleeding control & shock
  • Seizures (including febrile seizures)
  • Meningitis awareness
  • Anaphylaxis & asthma management

Course details:

  • Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Includes breaks throughout the day
  • Practical assessments conducted continuously
