Coach trip to National Memorial Arboretum

Coach trip to National Memorial Arboretum

Posted on: 04 Sep 25

On the 3rd Friday of every month the Lawley Armed Forces drop-in session is held at the Lawley Community Hub.  Serving, retired and family members are invited to enjoy a cuppa, toast and speak to others or gain support if needed. Following one of the drop-in sessions a member asked if a trip could be organised to the National Memorial Arboretum and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to do this.

On Saturday 11th October the trip will be taking place, details as follows:

  • It costs just £3 to reserve your place and both serving, retired, family members or those with an interest in visiting the Arboretum are welcome.
  • The heavily discounted price is thanks to sponsorship from David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes.
  • The coach will leave from Gresham Drive (opposite Grazing Cow pub) at 9am and will return at 4pm
  • Land train tickets and refreshments on arrival are also included.

The National Memorial Arboretum is a space where everyone can celebrate lives lived and remember lives lost. A beautiful and inspiring place, the 150-acres of the Arboretum form a living landscape, a home for more than 400 memorials waiting to be discovered.

Tickets for the trip will be given on a first come basis and can be booked by emailing [email protected] or visit the Lawley Community Hub (in the square opposite Greggs).
