Reflecting on 2025 and looking ahead to 2026
Posted on: 06 Jan 26
Plans for our activities, events and services in 2026 are well underway, but before we look ahead, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything achieved in 2025.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all residents, community groups and partners who worked with us to deliver such a wide range of community support throughout the year. Together, we’ve been involved in everything from Armed Forces drop-in sessions and baby weaning classes, to work experience opportunities and our drop-in listening hub.
We were also proud to deliver our fantastic flagship events, including Summerfest, the Lawley 5K Fun Run, and our much-loved Christmas event, which brought the community together once again.
The Lawley Community Hub continues to provide a welcoming space for local groups and residents. From supporting the Telford Bereavement Group, which was set up last year, to marking Baby Loss Awareness Week, which we are honoured to do annually, the hub remains at the heart of the community. Each month we also welcome groups such as Citizens Advice Bureau and SENDIASS, offering vital support to anyone who needs it.
Throughout the year, we met with residents to discuss all aspects of our services, including alterations, open spaces, anti-social behaviour, areas of responsibility, and we carried out regular estate inspections to ensure our neighbourhoods are well cared for.
Meet the Estates & Stewardship Team
Residents are invited to join us on Wednesday 21 January, from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, at the Lawley Community Hub to meet members of the Estates & Stewardship Team. Whether you’d like to discuss how the stewardship charge is spent, raise any issues, or find out how you can get involved, we’d love to see you there.
