Remembering together in Lawley
Posted on: 20 Oct 26
Remembrance is a time to reflect, remember and honour all those who have served, sacrificed and continue to serve.
This year, in partnership with our Lawley Armed Forces Network, we’re creating a special community remembrance project and would love to invite Lawley residents to be part of it.
🌺 Add your poppy to our community artwork
If you’d like to take part, you can sign a poppy which will be brought together with others to create a special piece of artwork to mark Remembrance Day.
You can sign your poppy at either:
📍 Lawley Community Hub during opening hours
📅 Friday 20 November, 10am–12pm, at our next Tea and Toast Armed Forces drop-in at the Hub.
Every poppy is a small but meaningful way to show that we remember, together.
🕊️ Join your community in remembrance
There is also the opportunity to join the local community at the Lawley War Memorial, next to the Grazing Cow, on Sunday 8 November at 10.45am to pay your respects.
Whether you choose to sign a poppy, attend the remembrance event or simply take a moment to reflect, everyone is welcome.
