Looking after Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems

As part of our Estates & Stewardship services, we look after Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) in the areas we manage. These systems are an environmentally friendly, natural way of handling surface water runoff—helping to reduce flooding, control pollution, and support local biodiversity
Our Grounds Maintenance Contractor, M&BG Ltd, is responsible for keeping these systems in good condition. Their work includes:
• Regular inspections
• Flailing or strimming the sides and banks (as shown in the video)
• Removing rubbish or debris to prevent blockages
