Baby loss awareness week marked

After being contacted by resident Nina who wanted to reach out to other local members of the community who had been affected by a tragic loss, we were honoured to organise yesterday’s event to mark baby loss awareness week.

Reverend Laura from Telford Minster conducted a moving service and offered continuing support for families.

Following the services families shared memories of their babies and journeys, with poems, readings, songs and ribbons tied on the tree. Everyone was given a candle for this Sunday’s (15^th October) 7pm Wave of Light.

If anybody in the community would like to join in the Wave of Light, you’re invited to pop along to the Lawley Community Hub (previously Fodens) by 3pm on Friday 13th, you can pick up a candle.
